Vegetable Carbonara |
Easy to make and good with any type of pasta |

| Pasta |
| A little oil |
| Onion |
| Mushrooms |
| Cheese |
| Flour |
| Milk |
| Herbs |
| Seasoning |

| For most of our recipes you need
to try them out and adjust the ingredients to your taste |
| Heat a little oil in a frying pan on a low to
medium heat. Add a chopped onion, season to taste and cook until transparent then
add some chopped mushrooms.Cook for a few minutes and add some flour to take up the juice,
Stir in some milk ( skimmed, semi skimmed or whole milk will be fine) and mixed herbs or
Italian seasoning continue stirring until the sauce thickens. Add a handful of
cheese, allow to melt and serve the sauce on any prepared pasta ( the pasta is best when
tossed in a little butter and ground black pepper !) |

| You will need |

| Medium curry powder |
| Butter |
| Onion |
|
|
| Mix some medium curry powder with butter or
spread. Slice several onions and cook under the grill for a few minutes, Then
spread the curry powder mixture on the onion, Cook until well browned ( almost burnt !)
and serve with potato salad or cheesy instant mash and a green salad. |
